Donors and national FTS

Donations and national donor records are primarily handled by Friends of Tribals Society at the national level. FTS does not use donor information for commercial purposes. Donor details are used to communicate about Ekal activities in India and where Ekal schools operate. Where a donor asks to remain anonymous, every reasonable effort will be made to honour that request.

National FTS is registered under FCRA to receive foreign donations where applicable. Tax exemption certificates and school allotment communications for national donations follow FTS India processes. For donation privacy specifics, please refer to the national policy linked above.

Disclosure and security

We limit access to personal information to chapter office-bearers and authorised persons who need it for membership, coordination, or support. Transmission of information over the internet is never fully risk-free. While we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data sent online.

We may share information when required by law, or with the national FTS organisation when needed for membership, reporting, or seva coordination within the Ekal family.
